Anyone reading her “apologies” and taking them as a good step forward has had zero awareness of this past 10 months whatsoever. Nearly a full year (and actually a full year for some) of heartache watching our abuser continue traipsing along gaining more followers & victims.
I want Willow to be an example in the trans Twitch community, even after (if) meaningful accountability & rehabilitation has been accomplished.

It’s fine to enjoy streamers and like them. But y’all really have to be a lot more careful about the cult dynamics inherently involved.

Charismatic public figures are inherently dangerous. They may not all have malicious intent, but the very fact that they can gather large masses of people who will support them unquestionably is extremely toxic, and it’s a trait abusers WILL take advantage of.
And you will not be able to tell the difference.
Even if you have a strong intuition about people, there is a very good chance you will second guess yourself in and out of trusting someone.
