This is the second day in a row I’ve seen a savior narrative of we have to go back to school to save the Black and Brown children emerge

I want to go back to school but I don’t want our community to die disproportionately

I don’t care what NPR told you about daycare

Stop saying risk when you mean death

Low risks= low deaths

And do you know if the deaths were disproportionately BlPOC? Because I’m tired of our communities carrying the burden

If you want to go back fine. But don’t tell me it’s because we need to be saved and we can’t be educated without you especially after we had to educate y’all about Juneteenth and Tulsa.
