Beautiful animation again!!!!

It really got me when they started using music from the animated films in the Disney Afternoon shows. There’s music from Beauty and the Beast in Goof Troop

I feel like this movie really leaned into being a musical

The way Belle is animated reminds me of Snow White

Cogsworth is ALWAYS right

I love the beast’s design, damn

I love Gaston lol. He’s so horrible

“My room? But I thought—”
“You wanna—you wanna stay in the tower?”
“No.”
“Then follow me.”

I love that exchange so much

“As a specimen, yes, I’m in-TIM-ih-DAY-TING”

“I USE ANTLERS IN ALL OF MY DECORATING”

GOD I love the beast pacing on all fours like a bear-dog-wolf

Belle is drawn a bit differently throughout the movie. My favorite is when she goes to the west wing

Could the non-beast prince fight off half a dozen wolves? I DON’T THINK SO

Tony Jay is in this. He had such an amazing voice

GOOSEBUMPS when Belle saw the library!!! And Beast being gentle!!!!!

THE BEAST GETS A BATH

The greatest tragedy of this film is that Belle never gets to bathe him as the beast

ALERT ALERT THEY ARE DANCING

I of course always noticed the lines “We don’t like what we don’t understand / In fact it scares us” but I had totally missed “Praise the lord” in the previous verse
