MT - NOT MY TAOISEACH - NEW TAOISEACH IS A CROOK!

Michael Martin is a gangster.

Michael Martin will be the first Taoiseach in the new 'rotating' arrangement with Fine Gael and the Greens.
MT - Michael Martin tried to change the image of Fianna Fáil. But he can't hide the ugly side of his party.

They've always been the party of the crooked developers and rich Irish gangsters.
Martin started his political career as a Fianna Fáil candidate on Cork Corporation in 1985, securing a place on the FF national executive in 1988.

He's been a right wing Minister for Trade, for Health, for Foreign Affairs.
MT -Micheál Martin’s Holiday Home, Courtmacsherry was built by Fianna Fáil donor, John Fleming.

Despite bailing out the developers and the bankers who fed them credit, Martin tried to distance Fianna Fáil from their former image.
MT - Yet Martin served with Bertie Ahern and never opened his mouth to criticise corruption and his dodgy deals.

He served in governments that slashed funding for public housing provision, pandering to the landlords and developers.
MT - But he took payments from the developers himself.

MT - Developer Owen O'Callaghan gave a "five figure sum" to Michael Martin.

Martin claimed he had "no memory" of a meeting with lobbyist Frank Dunlop in November 1991, which was recorded in Dunlop’s diary.
MT - As Minister For Health he pushed forward the privatization polices that have made our health service a war zone.

He also abolished the old health boards and established the rotten Health Service Executive.
MT - The HSE stole money from old people in nursing homes. Elderly patients were charged for public beds.

By 2005 they'd taken €2 billion from old and vulnerable people.
MT - In 2003 the Minister for Health Micheal Martin was given a briefing document that disclosed the scandal, but he did nothing.

When questioned later he said: "I didn't read it!"
MT - While he was Minister for Health he clocked up a €30,000 bill flying from Dublin to Cork, despite having a driver and car.

He claimed he was against water charges, after tens of thousands took to the streets.
MT - But documents released under Freedom of Information show the Fianna Fáil /Green government agreed in July 2010 to introduce a €500 water charge and metering system, five months before the EU/IMF/ECB Troika arrived.
MT - It was Fianna Fáil that introduced the USC, that slashed CE schemes, that set up NAMA and Martin never complained.

This right wing Taoiseach and this three party government is just another in a long line of corrupt landlord regimes.
MT - It needs to be challenged by mass protests - with social distancing as long as the virus is around - but it's time to stand up! #notmytaoiseach
