Most recently @decrimseattle & KCEN joined forces to develop a community-led participatory budget process, to make sure that COMMUNITY controls how our taxpayer dollars are spent in 2021—not the mayor’s office
In essence @decrimseattle and KCEN are “indispensable parties” to any City conversation dealing with the SPD budget or movement demands more generally
NOW @mayorjenny a self-proclaimed “lawyer’s lawyer” with literal decades of experience in practice is intimately familiar with the indispensable party concept...
Yet @MayorJenny recently held a meeting to address this movement’s “demands” but distinctly did not invite or notify ANY ONE from @decrimseattle or KCEN--clear indispensable parties.
