How I sold almost $4,000 of products via Twitter passively

This is my favorite side hustle.

Let me explain.

- Create a twitter account with a certain theme (dog videos, makeup tutorials, travel photos)
- Gain followers
- Sell products and services to the followers (free traffic)

First, it starts with a specific theme.

Theme’d accounts can gain A LOT of followers here on Twitter.

My largest account has over 150,000 followers.

That’s a powerful asset.

Choose a popular and creative theme/niche.

I’ll give you examples of niches later in this thread.

Secondly, brand your account.

Find a great profile picture and a create an eye-catching header to use for your account.

Think of a relevant @ and name for your account.

The next step is content...

Niches that lend themselves to visual content are great.

These accounts are more interesting and you’re able to gain a lot more followers than just tweeting text posts.

Find content on Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter and create your own!

Next, you have to start gaining followers.

This is how:

1. Engage with accounts in similar niches (reply and add value)
2. Follow people interested in your niche
3. Post interesting/funny/valuable tweets 5-12 times per day.

This is how I grew my network to over 300K...

You can start to monetize your account at any stage.

As you gain more followers and snowball your growth, more money will come.

There’s two important parts to monetization.

1. Collecting emails
2. Sharing irresistible offers in your niche.

Let’s talk about these more

Firstly, collect emails.

This is where you offer a free piece of content within your niche, and people can enter their email to receive it.

Use free tools like mailerlite etc to gather your followers emails.

Now you have a reliable second source to sell to.

Secondly,

You can directly sell on twitter as well.

Research what your niche is having problems with pitch a solution

For example, if you’re in the fitness niche, you can offer products to help people work out at home right now.

You can sell these to your email list too

So what can I sell?

- Physical products (print on demand merchandise, your own creations or dropshipping)

- Digital products (eBooks, guides, online courses)

You can affiliate for digital products and services within your niche and receive up to 60% commission!

You can drive thousands of people to your store from your account.

My biggest piece of advice is:

Share your ads consistently but post WAY more free content than your ads.

Just sharing offers will make you seem untrustworthy and won’t help you grow + reach more people

Some examples of niches you can start building an audience around are:

- Fitness (sell online guides, workout equipment)

- Interior design (sell home decor products and minimalism eBook)

- Makeup (sell makeup kits, online tutorials)
