My honest guess is that Robin DiAngelo will get cancelled soon, and then the job of explaining the problems with Wokeness to people will get far, far harder. This isn't just because DiAngelo's work is transparently horrible but also because it's very clearly written and plain.
I've been telling people for months that Robin DiAngelo is overwhelmingly my favorite Theorist. She says it all so plainly and is so obviously horrible while also being so prominent that it's impossible to discredit her as fringe that she's been of overwhelming utility.
Like, usually, I have to do a little looking for elucidating examples that can convince people in close-to-plain language that Theory really says and believes what it says and believes, and DiAngelo delivers in almost every case. The fight will get much harder when she's burned.
The thing is Theory doesn't care about anybody or anything except itself, so it will destroy her, continue to push her ideas but use the fact that she's been destroyed as protection. They'll refine the "white supremacy" out of them by linguistic magic and march ever on.
As a final note, a gently screaming reminder that Woke Theory isn't equipped to care about people by its fundamental nature. It is only equipped to care way too much about socially constructed categories and how people fit into them, so it is almost entirely inhuman.
