THREAD: "Karen" mask meltdowns.
These women attacking store staff for asking them to wear a mask are the result of generations of domination-based white culture. Always the rule has been "when in doubt, play the power, status, wealth card, and if challenged double down." /1

As the fabric of our society unravels before their eyes, the alarm bells going off in the back of white people's heads are telling them to double down on white dominance, class dominance, status dominance almost hourly. By the time the go for groceries they are half mad. /2

Our American collapse is the direct result of white men who practice bullying, hierarchical, dominance-based masculinity. Those men and the women who have bought into that deal with the devil. Generations of "I got mine now you get yours" individualism is gutting us. /3

But still, they will not self reflect. Neither these white men nor women will consider the cost of their obsession with materialism, status and conformity. When challenged, they have been taught to bring their anger, to call the cops, to double down on white dominance. /4

But now the results of all the predatory capitalism, racism and greed has the world unraveling before their eyes. Reminders of this collapse are no longer coming weekly or even daily, they are coming minute by minute. The "double down alarm bells" are going on continuously. /5

So white women cough on others, they scream about their "breathing issues." They bring all their well practiced rage and fling it in the faces of store clerks and hospital staff, desperately seeking the lovely dominance buzz that "speaking to the manger" once afforded them. /6

But the days when shitting on a store clerk would vent their anxiety and give them some peace are over. Those days are never coming back. The streets are full of protesters, and young people and change. Trump's ugly white charade is collapsing. /7

So, no, white America. You don't get to double down on white dominance any more. It has been collectively killing everything this is good and fine in this country for generations. But it's over now. /8

Find another way to process the complexity of your fucking lives, my white brothers and sisters because your dominance addiction is over. /9
