ableist things disabled people want you to fight for:
- call people out when they laugh/mock people for how they walk/talk
- complain to companies if they aren& #39;t accessable with an appropriate ramp/have a door without a ledge
- complain to companies if they don& #39;t have disabled -
toilets that have changing facilities and a chord that hangs to the floor
- call out people that use the s, r and honestly any other ableist slur, there& #39;s hundreds
- help normalise using walking aids and not questioning people& #39;s use of them
- call out people who say ambulatory -
wheelchair users are faking
- help educate people about the use of service dogs for disabilities other than being blind
- make people feel uncomfortable when they say that & #39;covid doesn& #39;t matter because it only kills the disabled and elderly& #39;
- call out people who say that -
disabled people are & #39;benefit sceoungers& #39;

just do better, if all you& #39;re doing to fight ableism is calling out trixie mattel for doing a performance in a wheelchair, do more. it& #39;s such a small part of a very ableist society. we are underrepresented and marginalised, make it stop.
