My faith in humanity has just been restored. This afternoon i was teaching the mrs how to ride a bike, in the local park. Quite a few folks who saw us, stopped to say a few encouraging words, wave or just give a thumbs up... One lady chatted with us for a bit...

Later maybe like after 30 mins, she saw us again and came up. She told us her daughter whose 21 n is at uni, left behind a brand new bike behind, which if we wanted was ours. I immediately offered to pay, but she insisted that we can just have it

We exchanged numbers, then an hour later she called and said that her hubby has taken the bike out, cleaned and oiled it up. We bought a box of chocolates and went to her place. Both of them are really really sweet. The bike btw is literally sparking clean and barely used

We thanked them profusely and she loved the chocolates we got her! The husband also gave us a bike lock and bike lights!! We were absolutely floored. I've promised her to take good care of the bike n send videos as mrs learns to ride it.
