Because the usual trash at the TFW2095 boards are dumping on Siege, lets do abquick run though.

Optimus Prime

Odd looking truck does not detract from the well proportioned and wonderfully detailed robot mode. The engineering will be perfected in Earthrise but its a good Prime.
Megatron.

What a great figure. Combining the G1 gun Megs aesthetic with a more sensible tank alt mode. Suffers from feet hanging off the back of the alt mode but one of the best G1-esque designs we've ever had.
Starscream and the other million versions of this mold.

It may not be totally screen accurate but there has not yet been a screen accurate tetrajet figure. For the money this does the job and then some. Factor in waist articulation and you have the most poseable Starscream ever.
Yeah, I don't really gey what he turba into either but be honest, we keep our Soundwaves in bot mode 99% of the time anyway.

This is the best Soundwave bot outside of MP and he already has an extensive set of chest bursters to accessorise with.
Wow! What an amazing Springer. G1 accurate which considering the design wasn't created to be practical is something!

Thrilling 30 Springer is great but this version can stand tall beside it.

Though not that tall because he's comparatively tiny.
A classic 'armour-on-guy' design that no official Ultra Magnus has sported since the original.

Another figure that stands apart from an awesome eaelier version but he's different enough to be his own thing.

Great fun and looks great fully geared up.
FINALLY!

I love this guy, weird nylon white plastic and all.
Galaxy Upgrade Prime is not as good as the figure he's homaging but he is important for being a new mass retail version of a Unicron Trilogy design which hopefully shall herald many more.
Shockwave benefits from the engineering of his Masterpiece counterpart and brings it to a wider audience.

Strip away the armour and you have an awesome Shockwave figure that fully embraces its G1 heritage.
The perfect Jetfire.
Sideswipe is another figure that borrowa heavily from his Masterpiece figure. Whay we end up with is a sleek and sexy vehicle mode that is also an amazingly accurate bot mode.
We might not have ever received official versions of Cog, Sixgun or Brunt had someone not come up with the Weaponiser gimmick. Thank Bob. Non-traditional but he looks great as does Aragon his Powerdasher repaint.
A solid Hound who is going to get our boy some mainstream attention.
On its own this is a great figure but its existence means our collections can realise the full potential of one of Transformers' underappreciated pairings.
Chromia is an oddity. She already had a great figure but to complete the Orthia set I was eagre to add another version of the Moonracer mold.

This was not it. It's not as good as her bike body, its not as good as the combiner limb version of this design.

Nightbird was also bad
Transformers are at their core humanoids who turn into various sized boxes and this mold epitomises that idea. CHUG needed a version of Ironhide and Ratchet that isn't a panel-lined mess.

Plus Crosshairs, bonus.
Considering Sixgun had no real alt mode what we ended up with is an impressive try.

Looks great as a bot and is a versatile weaponizer, great figure.
Its interesting to observe how a different paint job can effect our appreciation of mold. Its a good mold but some of these guys are better than others. I rank them as follows:

Bluestreak
Barricade
Smokescreen
Prowl
Accept that the space ship alt mode is necessary to sell individual versions of this mold and you'll be a lot happier.

Refrator is an engineering triumph. His adaptability means he's almost as versatile as the weaponisers and he gives us the Reflector we always wanted.
All the weaponisers are brilliant. Partsformers thwy may be but they're packed with character and playability.

I own Brunt and Zetar and just bought 5 Centurion drones. I'm putting my money where my mouth is on this.
Whether you prefer the Marvel or IDW version it was about damn time Impactor got an official figure.

Not only that but this gives him exposure to the mainstresm meaning he'll appear more frequently in the future.
Personally, I prefer the Classics version of Mirage but despite his atypical transformation he's still a good figure that properly captures his animation model.
There are compromises in each of his alt modes and he's small for his size class but Astrotrain is a decent version of the character that looks great on any 85 shelf.

If you do want a Cybertronian aesthetic Astrotrain, pick up his Titans Return figure.
Big imposing and fulfills the expectation that has been building for yhe 3 years leading up to his confirmation. Must have.
Every single one of the Micromasters / Battlemasters is a joy.
Following up the Prime Wars trilogy was going to be tough and Siege has not had as big an impact as Combiner Wars did but at this pointbin the CHUG cycle most characters have been done. Siege recognises this and offer figurea that compliment what has come before.
Siege has spawned a lot of repaints but the majority of these were not part of Siege, they were part of Selects and just goes to show how innovative Hasbro continues to be with its designs. I'd like to see a move away from newer versions of G1 characters after this trilogy...
...and see other aspects of TFs continuities explored. Whatever you think of Siege it gave us plenty of things we couldn't have guessed we'd see.

Targetmasters
Micromasters
Comic only characters
Tetrajets
Titan companions
