a thread of scenes i can never get over in dr. stone:
- the part where taiju finds senku and goes to hug him, but senku is pushing him away yelling "DON'T HUG ME WHILE YOU'RE BUCK NAKED!"
- when taiju returns to the cave he was revived from and finds a pot in his place (cont.)

(cont.) that is collecting a liquid dripping down from the cave's ceiling. he yells "neither senku nor i have been here yet so that means someone else survived! who put this here?!" and senku just goes "i did, idiot"
- "every 800,000 seconds or so i lose consciousness. it's like

having diarrhea/it's as regular as my bowel movements used to be." (senku, chapter 1/episode 1)
dunno why i can't get over this. maybe because it's just some weird outlandish quote and i can't understand why they'd include it.
- donald trump.
- the airbus 747

- "getting more humans back is a top priority. after all, we're just a couple of dudes, we can't really restart humanity like this, if you catch my drift."
- senku before the mass-petrification. he's just hot okay. i mean he's still hot afterwards, but beforehand? hits different.

- taiju realizing he's got a beard now so he goes to senku about it, who "shaves" taiju's beard off by using clams to rip the hairs out. senku is then seen laughing his ass off at taiju's swollen face afterwards.

however, years pass and senku doesn't grow any facial hair. weird.

- the anime's first opening, "good morning world!" yeah that one. i loved the song and visuals and i was sad when the op got replaced with something i didn't like as much but i did understand the change because the visuals were different and changed according to the plot's events

(cont. from last tweet) however, i nearly screamed when the song came back later on, towards the end of the season. i posted a video about me screaming about it on my spam account on instagram but copyright fuckin took it down

- the fact that they censored the piece of corpse that senku de-petrified
- the part where taiju and senku are about to revive yuzuriha and then taiju just yells "WAIT SENKU SHE'S NAKED" and just takes two of his fingers and stabs them into senku's eyes

- and then senku is left there with tears in his eyes after being STABBED in them by taiju like "no one's gonna care if you're butt's showing or if your dick's hanging out" in which taiju responds with "YUZURIHA DOESN'T HAVE A DICK"

- senku saying that we'll need calcium carbonate and then taiju says "oh, like the chalk they use on fields! we just gotta find this stuff in a gym storage room!" as if any gym storage room exists after 3700 years of decaying

and the way senku is like "ding ding ding,

you are correct! IF ONLY THEY EXISTED 3700 YEARS LATER!" ALKFJAKLEF
- both eds are nice. the kind that depicts real life but with some sort of oil painting filter over it and the music that goes along with it is really nice. the second one with chibi senku and his dad tho awww

AND THE FACT THAT HE SHED A TEAR IN THE ED AND HE JUST WIPED IT AWAY AND KEPT GOING AWW HE MISSES HIS FATHER BUT HE KNOWS HE HAS TO KEEP GOING BECAUSE BYAKUYA PUT ALL OF HIS FAITH INTO HIM AAAA IM GONNA CRY AGAIN

- senku saying "no matter what, we mustn't let tsukasa learn of the miracle fluid in the cave" and immediately afterward taiju runs out yelling "WE FINALLY HAVE ENOUGH MIRACLE FLUID IN THE CAVE TO REVIVE YUZURIHA!" and let me tell you that reaction from senku was PRICELESS

- the OST. it's amazing. that and the tower of god ones are amazing.
- the part where senku, taiju, and yuzuriha make gunpowder and senku says "okay so the last step in the process is to pound it until it's solid" and he says that the powder won't explode unless there's a metal

in the stone that taiju is using to pound the gunpowder with, and then he realizes that there is in fact a metal in the stone - iron pyrite. AND THEN THE WHOLE THING EXPLODES ALEFJAWF
- tsukasa chopping off yuzuriha's hair as a threat and she says "oh thanks it was hard to wash"

- the flashback to where byakuya deadass sells his car for the money to buy senku a whole bunch of science equipment for christmas
- another flashback where senku is conducting experiments in a field and a couple walks by saying "how adorable" when senku is lighting something on

fire using a magnifying glass and then they say "how adorable?" when senku created a fire hot enough to MELT a frying pan AND THEN THEIR FACIAL REACTIONS WHEN THEY SEE THIS KINDERGARTEN AGE KID USING A COMPLEX CONTRAPTION INVOLVING LIQUID OXYGEN ALAKEF

- senku dying in the fourth fucking episode. the comment on that episode that got me more than the scene itself was "welp, that's the end of the series"
- the significance of something as simple as senku cracking his neck: that was a gigantic yet really obscure hint to the

remaining petrification on his neck, where senku put his life on the line for a science experiment where if you break the petrification using revival fluid, it heals any cracks under it. this was such a clever way of bring senku back to life. massive kudos to that.

- the "shiny monkey" flashbacks where at first the monkeys were petrified (aha get it? ok ill stop) upon seeing a human for the first time, and then deduced that this 'shiny monkey' is extremely stupid because senku was trying to make a fire by rubbing two sticks together but

failing to do so so he then puts in the work to create a bow drill to make a fire and then these monkeys are like "yep, this shiny monkey's def a dumb-dumb." as they see senku doing seemingly useless things when in fact he's working towards creating a fire.

- ginro and kinro being fascinated by BUBBLES that senku blew. and that these bubbles are labeled as 'sorcery,' love it.
- also in the same scene, ginro's special ability... Let Someone Else Handle It!
- another thing, gen's reactions to senku announcing what the kingdom of

science is going to create next. as he was alive before the petrification, he has an idea of what senku is saying, such as cell phones, cotton candy machines, etc. but his reactions are still hilariously priceless and that's what made gen asagiri my favorite character.

- chrome's reaction to senku exposing his "rainbow bridge" technique
- the scene where chrome challenges senku to an arithmetic battle and becomes immediately crushed by a whole bunch of scientific formulas:

- kinro actually being attached to his golden spear and then ginro bullying him about it because he never got a silver spear (i hope kinro gets another golden spear sometime)
- the moments where chrome thinks he has something that even senku has never learned of and then is

immediately proved wrong, leaving him defeated (por ejemplo the magnet and the waterwheel)
- the part where senku declares that he'll help himself to the bronze in the budda statue and taiju is like "NOO DON'T THAT'S THE GREAT BUDDHA"
- the scene where suika, senku, chrome, and

kohaku are blowing air into the furnace in attempt to turn iron sand into regular iron. that seems boring yes but the fACIAL EXPRESSIONS SLKDFALF ITS AMAZING I SAW IT IN ONE OF THE DR STONE ADS I GOT ON CRUNCHYROLL I DI E D
- senku creating ramen and the villagers loved it so

he then says "guess i'll dig in, too. i haven't had a decent meal in over 3700 years." and then after one bite he just sits there defeated like "it's not decent at all."
- there were two instances where chrome called kohaku a gorilla and when he did that her reaction was AMAZING

(a scene from the manga where this happened)

- gen's first appearance in the anime where he says "this makes me want a drink, like cola" and that makes senku stop in his tracks because he immediately knew that this guy was from before the petrification due to his knowledge of the modern day beverage called cola

- gen switching sides every two fucking seconds. it was making me flip-flop so much between hating him because he's on tsukasa's side or loving him because he defected to senku's side
- senku creating electricity for the first time. just that.
- ginro bullying kinro after his

golden spear got decimated from the lightning and then getting beat up by the latter because of it.
- kohaku saying that they may have failed to create magnets because the two magnets refused to be attracted to each other (rather, they were being repelled) and senku tells her

that she got the poles backwards.
- senku fighting back against the bullies
- gen getting ambushed and killed by magma. i was really sad, because i really loved gen's design, but then we learn that he faked his death and had used fake blood to trick magma into thinking he had

killed gen.
- the parts where this anime becomes angsty instead of funny or so wholesome it makes me cry
- suika being shown to have an adorable face which quickly turns into an ugly one because she has to squint all the time to see better
- "you're just nearsighted as hell.

it's hardly even a defect." (senku, forgot episode and chapter)
- the part where suika looks through her watermelon glasses for the first time, and how the sunflower is so detailed and clear, and then the image goes blurry again when her eyes tear up

- THE REACTION IMAGE THAT CHROME, SENKU, AND I GUESS KOHAKU AND SUIKA MAKE WHEN THEY FAIL MISERABLY AT GLASSBLOWING LDJFKDSF
- kaseki revealing to be really buff and breaking out of the ropes he was tied up in himself (another thing i saw in a dr stone ad on crunchyroll)

- the first successful revival of that swallow
- kohaku's reasoning behind being being the 'gorilla' she is. it's because she cares for her sister so, so much.
- the part where chrome notices senku's hand shaking as he gets near the poisonous gas
- along with the part where senku

just. CALMLY WALKS RIGHT INTO THE POISONOUS GAS with the gas mask on of course
- when chrome nearly fell into the acid i had a heart attack like NO WE BETTER NOT BE LOSING CHROME NOW I LOVE HIM
wait was it chrome or ginro that noticed senku's hand was shaking in fear?

- when senku marries ruri and divorces her in 2 minutes
- within his marriage, he's like "wine! bring me wine!" and kohaku is like "that's too blunt!" and kaseki adds, "you sound like one of THOSE people!"
- the way senku says "i'm divorcing, then" I CANNOT.

- the part where kokuyo declares senku as the new village chief of ishigami village and senku is like "wait...ishigami village?" because his surname is ishigami

idk why but this part is just really powerful for some reason, that one moment

its like that "how the hell did she know" moment that got me

- the number of times kohaku compares senku to some sort of villain with the faces he makes. and i don't blame her one bit.

- POOR TSUKASA HE KNEW HE WAS GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH AN IDIOT BUT HE DIDN'T THINK HE'D HAVE TO DEAL WITH *THIS* BIG OF AN IDIOT LKDFJLD

this.

- the proposed deal taiju made with tsukasa that made absolutely no sense, even to me. also, the way tsukasa covers his mouth while he's trying to comprehend what he just heard.
- second/third image: B O N K
- also, taiju and his love for smartphones. me too, taiju. me too.

LOOK I MAY BE STUPID BUT EVEN I KNOW THAT THE RAW MATERIAL FOR GUNPOWDER ISN'T JUST FIREWORKS

POOR SENKU HE'S OVER HERE TRYING NOT TO LOSE IT I CAN TELL
he's aware he's friends with a complete dumbass and it shows

- the face he made in that first part...and the part where he berates himself for not realizing that the earth's axis tilted after learning that the north star isn't pointed at true north anymore where he says "oh THAT'S why my sextant wasn't working well at all"

- the manga version of the first image is so much better.
- the anime version of the second image is so much better.

also yuzuriha is so adorable i????

- the part where chrome and senku are in the cave next to the mountain of treasure gawking over all the rocks and minerals they found and magma just dEADASS KICKS BOTH OF THEM DOWN B O T H OF THEM I WHEEZEDDDDDDD

- this was left out of the anime to a degree (i say that because the wall is still there separating yuzuriha and taiju in the anime) but there's so much going on
- first of all the men/women signs KLFSDJFLS there's only thE THREE OF THEM + TSUKASA
- also SENKU WITH HIS HAIR DOWN!

its a great anime cuz its a great balance of suspense, humor, wholesomeness, exploration, etc....
