With all respect to all the hardworking fit ladies, please remember there is a very big difference between body fat and GLUTES. All the jump squats and banded side walks have their place, but you should still train glutes heavy if you're trying to build yours!
Some ladies have naturally round butts where their body fat distributes. NOTHING wrong with that, but a little frustrating seeing some ladies use this to take advantage of girls who want that ass, and intake their advice about "glute building" that has no real science behind it.
Heavy hip thrusts usually are at the forefront of the conversation about heavy glute training, which personally I love, but heavy squats (with correct form please) and yes, even leg press when performed correctly can take your glutes to a whole new level.
Side note: a lot of people have a weird idea of body fat. Having body fat isn't calling you "fat." You NEED body fat for your body to function correctly and optimally. Do not compare yourselves to people who are extremely lean year round. Could be crazy genes, could be forced.
