What's that one thing where you're CONVINCED that the crap version is *way* better than the so-called good stuff?
Mine: MAPLE SYRUP. Commercial 'B-grade' syrup the colour of road tar = infinitely better than Vermont Fancy from some backwoods artisan gink who names all his trees.

Addendum: Christ on a bun, I know that the letter ratings are not quality-indicative. However, I PROMISE you the following is true.
(a) the perception that 'lighter is better' is real.
(b) Fancy grade IS more expensive, rarely available in supermarkets here, and...
