VEDAS ARE UNSCIENTIFIC Part-I

This "pseudoscience" propaganda is so strong that writing such disrespectful articles in the country of Hindus is a new trend.

Dare they question "our brothers" about splitting of moon and how water become wine?

I've encountered the verses they quote for propaganda too but some of it has already been taken earlier and most of it I wanna compile in a later thread which would just be an extension of non-sense cause instead of Vedas, in the name of it they quote Puranas.

Anyway, let's see

Rig Veda 1.38.7 says that;

"Cloud rains in those places where the atmosphere creates low Pressure."

We teach this in middle school but don't tell them where does this knowledge come from about factors of rain.

Rig Veda 1.105.9 not only knew about several components of sun rays but even about seven rays of white light. (If we go through Bhavishya Puran, it even mentioned the name of those Seven Rays with their importance).

But what we know? Galileo, Copernicus and Newton's prism.

Atharva-veda 20.100.3 is astounding, it says, air is the carrier of words (sound), it is so clear that Hindu sages knew about air particles which acts as carrier (medium) of sound waves.

The propagation of waves in Wave Theory.

Even Rigveda 8.91.5 & 1.143.5 says similar.

Even Yoga Chudamani Upanishad mantra 115 says that we hear sound when air is present in atmosphere. This means they knew that air works as medium of sound and hence studied Sound Waves as Pressure Waves in detail.

Rig Veda 3.9.1 talks about the fundamentals of Latent Heat which is responsible for holding water into clouds.

And it must be noted that modern science has discovered about Latent Heat roughly 250 years ago but our Vedas even knew of it’s properties.

Newton’s Third Law of Motion says “Every action has equal and opposite reaction.”

This was said long before in VAlSESIKA SUTRAS 1.1.14 in a little different way.

It says “Action is opposed by its effect.”

Let me tell you all, not only “Third law” of Newton but all the “Three Laws” of Newton are mentioned in Vaisesika Sutra’, which is a Hindu scripture.

Rig Veda 1.50.11 prays Sun to remove heart diseases and thus indicates importance of Vit D.

And there is some promising research that vitamin D may reduce the risk of heart failure.

Rig Veda 1.56.2 gives us an idea that not just science but ancient Hindus knew about geology too about the knowledge of several jewels and treasures hidden inside sea, since long ago.

Wonder how sages went deep inside sea without any suit equipped with oxygen?

Vishnu Puran  2.8.12-15 & Aitareya Brahmana 3.44, lay down the foundation of Concept for Rotation of Earth in it's axis, they say Sun neither rises nor sets.

People call it ‘Sunrise’ & ‘Sunset’ by seeing position of Sun at Morning & evening.

The discovery of water on Moon has been done very recently and proud to say that even today it was done by an Indian craft called ‘Chandrayaan’.

But Vishnu Purana 2.9.10 described it long ago.

It talks about Water on moon’s surface & role played by sun.

Rig Veda 1.35.6 says that all planets are dependent upon Sun.

And we know, it is sun (through gravity) holds all the planets.

Even Brahmanda Purana 1.2.24.69-72a hints that Hindu Sages knew about the gravity applied by Sun which is responsible for holding all planets in a Solar system,

which Westerners defined as "firmament" to justify their Biblical nonsense but I guess Hindus can get it by now.

Rig Veda 1.84.15 says that the light coming from Moon is nothing but the same light of Sun.

This astonishes that without help of any large telescope or modern accessories, those sages studied the luminance of Celestial bodies

In Satapatha Brahmana 9.4.1.9, it says, “like the sun’s are the moon’s rays”.  (because moon reflects the rays of Sun)

Even Nirukta 2.6 says that Sun illuminates the moon.

Further, even Samveda Part I, Prapathka 2, Dasti 6, verse 3 says that light of Sun reaches the moon.

Samveda 2.5.3.9 says that the Moonlight which shines at night is indirect light of sun.

Brahmanda Purana 1.2.23.74 says that Moon is scorched by Sun.

Rig Veda 8.18.9 says that let the air be free of diseases.

The noteworthy point is, those noble sages knew that even air contains diseases.

In medical terms,  we call it ‘airborne diseases’ which transmits through air.

They probably knew about how to sterilize air too.

If we read chapter 104 of  BHAVISHYA PURAN it very clearly mention about Seven Continents and Seven Oceans of Earth with their names.

It’s truly amazing how without the help of any satellite image anybody could describe Geographical Map of entire world.

Similarly, Rigveda 5.62.6 talks about a house consisting of 1000 pillars. This gives an idea that even civil engineering was outstanding those days

It is about orthopaedic surgery.

It describes an instance where a woman who was fighting war got injured and then Ashwin brothers gave her leg of irons.

This is the same method used by orthopaedic surgeons in modern times.

Atharva Veda 12.1.19, says that Agni (Heat) is present in Earth, water, thunder, rocks, humans, Cow’s, Horses and as well as in other animals.

It talks about how we study different forms of heat in different places.

Yoga Vasishta 1.3.2 says, blueness of sky is an optical illusion.

And we know that sky is not blue, it appears so because of scattering of light.

It even suggests that people knew how to cure toxic injected in body.

They used arrow like objects to inject Antidote in the body.

Rigveda 1.22.6 says that Sun takes up the water (evaporation) and rains it again (precipitation).

Even Nirukta 5.24 calls Sun as “consumer of water”.

Do kids who are taught these simple definitions in school know about it? We know the answer.

It says that the sun exhales water from four sources, namely—seas, rivers, the earth and the living creatures and then pours it down again.

Brahmanda Purana 1.2.22.12 describes too.

Atharva Veda 10.2.31 suggests us of architecture that cities on those days were first planned on paper & then build because Atharva-veda describes bird-eye view of a city. It describes the city named ‘Ayodhya’ which is circular in plan with eight rampart walls & nine doors.

We know, wind plays most crucial role in moving ocean current.

Rigveda 1.164.11 first it tells Sun has one orbit.

Then it further says that the sun wheel has 12 spokes (which is 12 months) and 720 sons (360 days + 360 nights) which is approximately a year.

Long before Aryabhata, the Vedas have revealed the concept of Solar Calendar.

Surya Siddhanta 12.53 (another Hindu text) states that Earth is globe (spherical object).

Also Brahmanda Puran 1.2.19.197 says that Earth is in form of circle or globe (spherical)

Even Bhagvat Puran 5.21.8-9 suggests that Earth is spherical. It says that when sun rises in one city, it appears to set in another city which is in just diametrical opposite direction.

This further proves it cause in flat earth everyone would see the sun in same position.

In modern history J.J Thomson is being credited for discovery of Atoms but they were our Sages who actually discovered it first.

Padma Purana 1.40.184b-185a says that Sun is in midst of all the planets.

This means that Hindus knew about accurate position of Sun and all the planets.

Universal Law of Gravity discovered by Isaac Newton says “Every particle in universe attract each other”.

Actually, this was said by Hindu sages long back in little different sense.

Yoga Vashistha 1.30.32 says “Each has an attractive power”.

Rigved 3.5.5 describes ‘Earth’ as moving object.

However in modern science we learn a Greek astronomer Copernicus is credited for discovering that Earth is moving but this was long before revealed in Vedas.

Now don't our people need to know about their own heritage?

The verse specifically mentions ‘Mars’ planet.

Also Bhagvat Puran 3.11.13, Yoga Vasishta 5.75.13 & Mahabharata 3.189 says that all the planets & heavenly bodies are rotating in universe.

Atharva Veda 13.2.39 tells us that Sun is reference of time, this is absolutely tremendous because even today Sun is considered as the references on the basis of which time (Year, month, day) is calculated as we deal with Solar Calendar.

According to Atharva Veda 16.1.13, there is heat present even inside water particles. Latent Heat.

There are two more verses which clearly talks about Hidden (Latent) Agni (Heat).

And that are Rigveda 1.95.4 and Rigveda 10.32.6.

Atharva Veda 12.1.26 reveals that sages knew about Mining and also knew about several Mineral Substance which are found deep underground.

It says that a baby (in womb) is nourished by the food; Mother’s ate during that time.

True, as baby nourishes through placenta which forms an important connection between mother & baby, providing nutrients, passing oxygen etc

Yajur Ved 17.19 has two scientific facts within it.

First, it says Earth is manifested without any support (external).

Second, Earth is formed with the proper match of atom particles.

Yajur Veda 18.45 says that the air (Vayu-Dev) is filled with water (moisture) of ocean i.e., humidity defined as concentration of water vapor present in the air.

These means although not visible to naked eye but sages knew of moisture and humidity in climate.
