#StopWorkAbuse

Today I will post only one tweet in this form of thread where I will show how much bankers are abused and why customers are dissatisfied despite the best efforts from new gen bankers in PSBs.

I request bankers as well as public not to judge till end.

Incident at two people branch at Surat on which public were outraged over the criminal act of a police man who assaulted one lady officer who could not print passbook (though she provided with the statement) was not exception!

People do hold grudges but why does it happen?

for @RBI & @DFS_India public always comes before employees and to protect their rights they have laid some guidelines which is published every year by all banks. All PSBs follow that and their is always a timeline to meet your requests. 3/n
This z known as Citizen charters. All banks r similar in this respect so I will take example of @bankofbaroda and will focus on cash deposit and withdrawal only so that you get an idea. Look at the time which is needed as per them. Remember this starts once you reach counter 4/n

not when you reach bank. On an average even the least footfall in cash counter is 150 (can be verified with RBI Reports) or atleast you must have seen 10-15 people standing before you in queue when you are there! But many of branches handles around 200-300/day 5/n
Considering your convenience lets see what @RBI and Banks have decided. i.e how many customers are to be handled in a day! Now hold your breath cuz you are about to tell me I am a lair!

Its 20-30 by one cashier!

Yup I know u've already started abusing me read it through 6/n
This is a simple calculation even you can do it but for your benefit I have added it! If I add 30 min of lunch and 30 mins for peeing and other stuff (assuming bankers also pee and drink) max number of customers one cashier should serve is 30 as per @RBI

WTF is wrong must be the qsn crossing your mind right now why in collecting cash or giving we need 7-15 minutes/customer.

Hang on its not for bankers safely it for customers.

Let us see what all do we need to check before we make any payment!

Even I need a pee break (dunno why but even when you expect bankers not to pee or move we are unable to meet your demands) I'll be back!
M back!

So when you come to withdraw cash using cheque to protect your money from frauds we need to see:

1) Whether chq is genuine (not colour print)
2) If date is correct (you issued cheque 6 months back
9/n
but the one you issued it might be using it after valid period of 6 months)
3) Amount in words in figures is matching (to see if someone altered it)
4) If you are the one issued it (signature to protect your money)
5) It is the same person whom you issued

(asking for ID and even smallest of change in spelling and name differing from ID could mean someone is trying to loot you of your money)
6) Then count the money we are to give (double checking if fake note is there)

and the process is same even if you come for withdrawal of 500/- or 50 lakh

time 4 counting & verifying will differ!

Ask yourselves in d society where father rapes daughter and son kills father how many frauds are committed by relatives. Data is public!
