Thread on how I lost 50kg / 110 lbs! (long)

So my hw was 120kg (260lbs) and my cw is 71kg (156lbs) if you want bodychecks I& #39;ll post them, but I& #39;m really self conscious about my hw bodychecks lmao. I& #39;m also 173cm (5& #39;7)
1. Half veggies

This is my biggest rule. Anytime you eat, half your plate should be vegetables. Then 1/4 protein, and 1/4 carbs.
If you& #39;re having a snack, half of it should be veggies or snack on all fruit/veggies.
2. Fasting is your best friend.

Fasting can be pretty hard, but it& #39;s so worth it. OMAD (One meal a day) is basically fasting for 23,5hours, eating then start fasting again. If you can get away with it, I highly recommend longer fast, as they get easier with time.
3. DO NOT THROW UP. EVER!!

I lost almost 30kg since I stopped b/p. You binged? Too bad, now work it out. Basically, purging gives you an excuse to binge by saying "that& #39;s OK, I can throw it up" but only 1/2 the calories come back up (it that)
Not purging makes you extremely self conscious of what you put in your body, since the only way of getting it out is exercise (and working out 6000+ kcal is NOT easy lmao
4. Walking!

So I hate exercise with a burning passion. However, I have walked 10k steps per day for the last year and it helped so much! Put on your earphones, and go to school/work by walking, even if it& #39;s far (I was 1h away from univ & walked there and back every day)
Walking won& #39;t make you put on muscle but will burn fat very gently everyday. Think of it as a nice bonus! By walking 10k steps every day, it& #39;s about 250kcal burned in the easiest way possible. It& #39;s also fasting friendly!
5. Accountability

So I see a nutritionnist every 2 weeks. Even if she& #39;s not aware of everything I do, I find myself working extra hard the days before the appointment to shred some extra weight. Might be a bad idea if you& #39;re not overweight to begin with, but it helped me a lot!
6. Keep busy

We all heard this one, but being busy (as in, away from home) gives you the perfect excuse to not think about food. I& #39;m thinking about joining my city& #39;s chess club during the summer break, and I go on long walks every day
Basically give yourself responsabilities and work (in an association, a club, get a job, go see your elderly neighbors etc) and the weight will fly off since you won& #39;t think about it
7. Avoid binges at all costs!

Eating is nice, but binging is your absolute enemy. It throws you into a cycle, and is very hard to get out of. If you feel like binging, even if you are fasting, break your fast to eat some apples or veggies! It will be less harmful than binging
8. Coffee

If you don& #39;t drink coffee during your fast, sorry but you& #39;re an idiot. It& #39;s 0 kcal, helps you fast longer, is an appetite suppressant, gives you energy, keeps you full longer, warms you up when you& #39;re cold, and the list goes on. Drink coffee!
