the pigeons have built a quasi nest and laid an egg on my patio

moved the nest, going to build a bird cage to keep them from burrowing into the AC unit itself

the above design would cost about $100 in 1x3" boards, but because 2x4s are vastly more common, if you build it out of 1x4s the cost comes down to about $60.

and actually I think I like the thicker slats / smaller gaps now looking at them side by side

cutting out some random notches in the access panel lid and I think this is a wrap for today.
