Like it'd be one thing if Alex's story was the only accusation out there about Scott Lynch and Elizabeth Bear and you all were out here trying to discredit just that story. #SFF

That still wouldn't be right, just because you don't like someone doesn't mean they can't be abused, but at least then your "So there's no way Lynch and Bear are abusive at all" narrative would have legs. #SFF

But Alex's story isn't the only one out there about either of them. Stuff about Scott from another mentee was percolating before Alex even made their post. And multiple people in the comments on Alex's post talked about experiences they've had with Bear. #SFF

And the way everyone's talking makes it pretty obvious there's even more stories out there. Whether those people come forward or not I'm not going to blame them either way seeing what you're all doing to Alex. #SFF

So don't like Alex, I don't know what they did to you, but you're free to not trust and discount them as much as you want if you feel like that's a good use of your time. #SFF

Just be ready for when another story about Lynch and Bear comes out that you can't so easily discredit. Because I think it's pretty obvious that those are out there. #SFF
