Some ARMYs don't seem to have realized, or have forgotten, that all of Connect BTS was promo leading into MOTS:7.

There are many way to do promo. For BH & @BTS_twt this time, it was clear they wanted to emphasize BTS's position as artists and philanthropists worthy of respect.+
Some comebacks are intended to be like fireworks going off to announce someone's apparent dominance in social media.

But @BTS_twt no longer needs that. The whole world already knows they have it.

This comeback (and other content since) was intended to shift the narrative.+
The way this comeback was handled, from Connect BTS through things like the Black Swan art film and the multi-video release for ON, was designed to address the issue that has bothered ARMY for so long - it was intended to show the world what they DIDN'T know yet about @BTS_twt. +
ARMY has been trying to convince the world for years that @BTS_twt are thoughtful, generous, genuinely brilliant artists, NOT "just a K-p0p boyband", but hadn't been able to actually bring change to the narrative.

The way BH constructed the MOTS:7 cb finally accomplished that.+
There will always be journalists/publications which choose to ignore what is in front of them. But what we have seen happen in terms of the respect level for @BTS_twt as artists this year is remarkable.

Look back at the articles from the whole cb and you'll see what I mean.+
The way @BTS_twt's appearance in Michelle Obama's graduation event, their recent donations, and even things like the Stay Gold MV are being written about is completely different and more respectful in tone than what we were seeing a year ago. This is all so encouraging to see +
and is an indication that the tactics BH employed with the MOTS:7 comeback to change the media narrative about @BTS_twt were successful in that respect, even if things like radio did not take off and streams were divided due to multiple versions of tracks/MVs being released. +
When we face challenges, it is sometimes easy to get sucked into a vortex of pessimism where we cannot see the good in anything because the bad jumps out at us first. ARMY tends to do this when we have bad/discouraging days. But I would encourage us all to consider that so, so +
much good has been accomplished by @BTS_twt and ARMY this year, despite everything. Look back at January and February and allow yourself to appreciate all over again what incredible artists we stan. Celebrate the way so many respected media outlets are now taking time to fully +
analyze their work & message. Don't let yourself be so consumed with pessimism that you can't appreciate the progress that @BTS_twt & ARMY have made together.

Yes, there is still a long way to go, but let's celebrate what has been achieved already, because it's so, so good.
