It was frustrating watching School Board Trustees spend hours debating the SRO program and to hear them say we don't have evidence supporting abolition.

But we do have the evidence. So I decided to create a toolkit specifically diving into the SRO program. It'll be up tonight.

I will highlight the data we currently have. Data that shows the program is harmful and criminalizes our students.

I'll also delve into the nation-wide context and tell you why all these trustees cite the bullshit Peel review of SROs. A review that doesn't use the word 'racism.'

I will also respond to the common arguments the trustees used. All of this will come from my years of research and experience on the topic.

To be honest, the only reason I returned to twitter was to respond to such obvious bullshit. Stuff that needed to be responded to.

So after I do that and after the vote on Tuesday I'll likely take that step back from this platform.
