this is ganesha(vinayaka,ganapathi)

-always worshiped first
-got an elephant head because he fought like 1000 people and his father to protect his mom
-has beef with the moon

this is Krishna(kanan,govinda)
-krishna=dark skinned
-somehow dark skinned translated to blue along with the time and has blue
-eight incarnation of vishnu
-herds cows
-plays the flute
-his uncle tried to kill him

this is shiva(shivan,mahesha)
-1/3 of the trimurti
-the destroyer
-once swallowed poison churned from the ocean
-has the river ganges on his head
-lives on mount kailash

this is bramha
-1/3 of the trimurti
-the creator
-every God/goddess is a form of bramha
-has 4 heads to represent the 4 yugas
-creator of hinduism
-is not worshiped in temples cause he lost a bet or something

this is vishnu(narayana)
-1/3 of the trimurti
-the preserver
-sleeps on a five headed snake
-has 10 avatars (including buddha)

I skimmed over a lot of very important things
I hope this thread shows you the significance of the deities in hinduism.
