Distinguished, people are not dragging DaddyFRZ because he called out "Churchpreneurs" or took pictures, they're calling him out because he modelled, celebrated and showcased this man as an example of success. He didn't exercise good judgement in his engagement with that man. https://twitter.com/segalink/status/1276637352627253248
it is true that Jesus sat down with sinners so much so that he was called "a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners". (Matthew 11:19). He did so not to celebrate them & showcase their wealth, but to minister salvation to them and bring them to repentance.
If Jesus was in Hushpuppi house, you can be sure Hush will be totally engulfed in listening to his every word. It will be Jesus running the show, explaining the importance of salvation of his soul. You can be sure that the session will end with Hush committing to full repentance.
Here is a man who prides himself as a preacher or some sort of new age religious leader going to the house of someone he now considers "a sinner" & never at anytime made attempt to talk to him about the salvation of his soul nor prick his conscience about the source of his wealth
Instead procedes on an hour long orgy of celebrating, showcasing and modelling him as an example of success & premium employer for father's of the poor. Wld Jesus really have done that? Wld Jesus have allowed him use his platform to legitimise himself? What would Jesus have done?
Don't get me wrong distinguished, as someone who has been on the victim end of a mob, I understand the mob concept. I absolutely get the point of your thread. Nonetheless, we must have the courage to call out our own when they stray and miss it. DaddyFRZ goofed bigtime on this.
There shd absolutely be no pride in saying 'I didn't know the guy, I got it wrong and I am sorry if my showcase of him led many to validate him'. If he had done this (instead of doubling down and trying to spin scripture to justify nonsense), he wld have come out of this a winner
