Facemasks and balconies are key items in the (lovely) posters coming out of Spain to mark a #GlobalPride2020 https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> held in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis:

— Social distancing (and a bike) in Madrid https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🌈" title="Regenbogen" aria-label="Emoji: Regenbogen">
— Azuqueca de Henares honors elder pioneers https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👵🏽" title="Ältere Frau (mittlerer Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Ältere Frau (mittlerer Hautton)">
#StayAtHome https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> vibe in Alcorcón https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🏠" title="Haus" aria-label="Emoji: Haus">
Correction — that first poster is Spain’s national campaign. Madrid’s is quite disappointing this year: whereas 2019’s campaign honored the pioneers who fought for LGBTI rights, this year the new, conservative government’s vague posters make zero reference to the LGBTI community.
Bonus images:

- Asturias’ beautiful flag bearers
- Barcelona’s artistic but vague campaign
- A probable double-meaning in this “we will resist” poster from Colombia

... And a flashback to the most ridiculous PSA ever. (We’ve come a long way, lads.)
