Before I begin sharing information about the service of the BRF in the armed forces, I want to take a moment to thank both current, and past, servicemen and women who work tirelessly to keep the people of the UK, or whichever country they serve, safe and protected

The close relationship between the monarchy and the armed forces goes back for centuries, and in the interest of keeping this thread from being too long, I will only be focusing on the involvement of Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and their descendants
