NHS Doctor Malcolm Kendrick:

GPs often put Covid on death certificates. with no test, masking the deaths that are due to lockdown

A&E visits are down by 50%, a proportion of this large number will die

NHS staff have NOT been working extra hard; A&E has never been so quiet

Lockdown was a panicked overreaction and probably increased deaths

The elderly were treated as numbers. Top priority was to empty the hospitals - nothing else mattered

They carelessly cleared the hospitals dumping patients on care homes, many of them carrying covid

We locked down the under 40s who have almost no risk, then wildly seeded covid amongst the elderly. You couldn't do worse if you tried

Lockdown is costing 3 times annual NHS spend. Is it worth it? Refusing to engage in that question is callous, cowardly and stupid

In the late 80s and early 90s. Russia had *5 million excess deaths* due to economic problems.

Developing countries will be obliterated by lockdowns they cannot afford. South Africa is already bursting

People mean well but destroying the economy means destroying health care

We locked down so NHS would not be overwhelmed - but that never even came close

We will all probably get Covid, repeatedly. There's no vaccine for HIV after 30 years. Covid will likely be the same

Lockdown was pointless and can't continue forever https://www.spiked-online.com/2020/06/26/the-lockdown-is-causing-so-many-deaths/
