1/7 About Covid-19:

People are focusing too much on the now vs. the future, all the daily data (deaths, cases, recoveries) is creating a wall of noise. That noise is making people arguing about lockdown, importance of data, etc...
2/7 The fact is covid is here and damages is done. The reason of the damages can be discussed but it will most likely turn into a political discussion.

Everybody has an opinion about lockdown, was it the right way to do it, who knows? But against unknown...
3/7 ...Governments had very few choices in front of them. For sure they will be more prepared moving forward. There is no country in the world designed to be shut down for 2 or 3 months, it is not economically viable.
4/7 We know mortality rate has decreased and as tests rampup it will decline even further.

Covid-19 is not a sanitary risk it is an economic one, it will take time to remove fear from the equation.

We are already seeing altered behavior from Asia to America.
5/7 Having countries getting spike in new cases will slow down borders re-opening and without global movement it will be very hard for countries to generate growth...they will need to rely on domestic growth for the time being.
6/7 From destruction always come opprtunity, some sectors got destroyed and others generated years of growth in few months.
7/7 All this will eventually go away with a treatment or vaccine, but we are know taking the risk of a pandemic seriously and as a society should be more prepared.
