Out of the very many social tensions in the UK, the white British intra-ethnic class conflict between metropolitan social liberalism in the core cities, and culturally conservative working-class communities in the provinces, is driving the fundamental realignment of politics.
We are getting to a stage where, because of a lack of shared values, a notable section of white working-class Brits cannot trust the Labour Party to represent them.
And far too many in Labour find it difficult to care about "winning back" coastal areas/much of the "Red Wall".

I cannot express to you how golden an opportunity this is for the Tories.
To cultivate a patriotic, communitarian conservatism - one based on:
- Devolving power to local communities
- Investing in ailing areas
- Strict immigration control
