Ya company aku tgh nk hire staff baru. Tp kalau kau yg membaca nk apply semata sbb nk ambil kesempatan nk travel, aku nasihatkan jgn hbiskan masa untuk apply.
Sbb apa? Aku dah bangunkan company aku dari 2011. Bayangkan berapa ramai staff aku dah pernah hire? Aku dah masak dgn perangai masing2. Dah blh baca. Believe me when I say I can tell just by meeting you once. In this case it's during d interview.
Aku pernah hire staff yg grad dari Edinburgh, dari Leeds, uni yg top di Malaysia & juga yg xde kelulusan. Lps bertahun hadapi perangai dorg ni, aku dah x tgk kelulusan. Aku tgk ATTITUDE.
Waktu apply kerja semuanya mulut manis. Once dah start kerja belang masing2 terserlah.
Bidang travel & tours ni kita memegang amanah pelanggan. Mereka percaya pada kita. Mereka laburkan wang mereka atas skil kita. Kalau kerja tak semenggah, adil ke buat pelanggan?
Drpd xde skill, aku akan train staff aku smp mampu ambil gmbr mcm ni. Sptutnya opportunity utk kerja dgn aku kena look forward to polishing your skills mcm ni. Bukan utk ber'ootd' spnjg masa. X slh tp kena tahu when to have fun. When to focus.
I always tell my staffs that they can only know they have done a good job when the customers they were in-charged for, came back (repeat). I can list down my repeat customers, some came back 4 times, because they were satisfied with my service. How to ensure that?
By treating them like a friend & family. As simple as that. Give them the experience we want to have ourselves if we were them. Make their vacation as memorable as possible they cannot forget even if they lost their memories!
I don't wanna sound conceited or condescending but when you as my staffs saw me buying things for myself or enjoying my coffee while you're working, that's because I've worked my ass off for many years before I could have that moment. You should...
take it as a motivation 2 work hard 2 b in my position. Not to envy me. I'm your employer. If I have 2 do your job, then why should I hire u in the 1st place? Do u even know tht managerial job is actually heavier? I hv got to deal with people, do the planning, strategizing & all.
The nature of this job makes it easy 2 forget the thin lines between u & me. I'm your employer & you're my employee. I can be your friend. I can laugh with u. But you gotta be professional & aware that you're working for me. You're holding customers' trust. It's a responsibility.
Only if you think you can do that (work hard, have positive attitude, aware of the responsibilities you're given by the customers, know your position & roles with me & the company) you can apply. Kerja ni dari dulu aku tetapkan SOP yg WAJIB dipatuhi. Supaya well executed.

I expressed my concern abt how meticulous I am in choosing a candidate bc I do care whom I wanna hire. I'm selective bc it's my company I'd been working so hard sustaining since 9 yrs ago. If u think it's funny 2 leave an inquiry as if it's a joke, u're already x qualified.
In fact, that's just an example of an attitude in a person that I detest the most. A career should be a serious matter. After all I've said in this thread & been dealing with bad attitude staffs, do u really think I'm gonna simply hire just anyone?
At this stage, if you've read the thread thoroughly, you can tell I'm highly committed, strict and meticulous. In order to sustain, I have to be. Or else I would've lingkup. Company anak Melayu kena lari dari amalan tipikal Melayu kalau nak maju. Trust me when I said that.
That being said, perangai2 Melayu such as x punctual, bnyk alasan, mengular, curi tulang, x fokus mmg amat x digalakkan apply. Kalau diterima berkerja & buat perangai mcm ni, you're subjected to legal action (ada agreement kena sign). Mlm ni sy senaraikan kriteria & syarat.
Kriteria calon-calon yang dicari ialah seperti berikut (sila baca dengan teliti):
1- Pertama sekali, baca dulu thread di atas & fahamkan. Aku tak sewenangnya hire org.
2- Kedua, diulangi, baca dulu thread di atas. Dan. Fahamkan.
3- Kebanyakan staff yg aku hire sebelum ni adalah lelaki. Dari segi kos, lebih jimat sbb tinggal sekali. Bila dh ramai problematic, aku cuba hire perempuan. Mslh lain plak timbul. Dtg Korea fokus lari sbb fanatik Kpop. Jd aku interview je lelaki perempuan & decide later.
4- Setiap calon yg berjaya akan in charge utk negara berbeza. Negara dgn statistic pelanggan tertinggi ialah Korea Selatan. Mungkin 2 org akan dipilih. Negara kedua Australia (Sydney). Then Eropah.
5- Kelayakan. X tertakluk pd mana2 bidang. Kalau bidang kelayakan anda blh sumbangkan something extra pd company, it's a bonus. Cth: bidang IT. Blh bantu administrate website. Kewartawanan blh buat vlog. Of course kelebihan ni akan dpt reward dr company nnt.
6- Walaupun kelayakan apa shj diterima, seperti dijelaskan di atas & diulangi berkali-kali, company tgk ATTITUDE yg paling utama. Hormat pelanggan, ramah, ringan tulang, suka kanak-kanak etc.
7- Salah satu sebab kami digemari pelanggan berdasarkan review mereka ialah kami utamakan solat & mknn Halal. Benda ni company akan latih & guide calon2 nnt sewaktu training.
8- Benda ni mungkin remeh, tapi ketinggian memainkan peranan penting. Sbb dlm kesesakan, dlm train dan sebagainya senang pelanggan nk nmpk. Bg lelaki 170 cm ke atas adalah bonus. Bg perempuan 155 cm ke atas. Tp ini bukan wajib. Cuma bonus.
9- Mungkin anda rasa mereka yg selalu travel diutamakan. Jwpnnya not necessarily. Sbb apa? Kdg2 yg selalu travel ni akan memandai mandai sbb rs dh bagus smp x ikut SOP company. Jd peluang sama rata samada yg selalu travel, yg jrg travel or belum pernah ke luar negara pun.
10- Sihat & cergas. Tak ada penyakit kronik (asma, lelah, jantung, gout etc). Tour Leader perlu lebih cergas drpd guests. Ingat bercuti dgn guests ke nak jln lebih slow drpd guests? Pernah ada staffs mcm ni.
11- Umur. 24 tahun (2021) hingga 35 tahun (2021). Status bujang sebab kena selalu berada di luar negara terutamanya Seoul. Eropah & Sydney dilonggarkan sikit sebab tak menetap di sana.
12- Aku paling suka org yg sistematik. Buat kerja bukan shj ikut SOP, tp ada inisiatif dia sendiri bg melancarkan kerja. Kerja bersistem. Selalu keep in touch dgn management di Malaysia utk report segala updates. Mmg akan jd staff kesayangan kalau jenis mcm ni. Sumpah.
13- Sedia terima teguran & sentiasa ada effort untuk improvise. Tak logik tak kena tegur di awal tugas. Pasti ada kelemahan. Company tegur supaya smp tahap u dah improved & x perlu ditegur lg dah. Tp klu tegur berkali kali xde perubahan, siap sedia la kena marah. 😈
Office di Bandar Indera Mahkota Kuantan. Jika tidak bertugas di luar negara, anda perlu bertugas di office. Bagi lelaki, penginapan disediakan sbb office berkonsepkan studio. Saya akan adakan interview dari 4 hingga 7 July 2020 di KL.
