truly hate to think about tumblr seriously. but thinking about how tumblr had a lot of attempts to resolve abuse, csa, and harm without the legal system but its interesting because it wasn't like we (WOW I *HATE* TO USE WE) were abolitionists. there was just nothing else you
could do considering the semi anon circumstances, the fact that everything was online, and the fact that these spaces were mostly if not totally queer (iirc). like i feel like.. whats it called when two things evolve the same feature from different paths...
but also at the same the end goal wasnt really transformation or even restorative justice (bc we were 14 and had no theory or praxis we just were rebloggig anime gifs) callout posts were if anything like a community safety mechanism..al
also maybe the call out posts themselves were meant to act as consequences. but also nothig was rly thought out bc as said before we were all 14 year olds. except i guess the predators we were calling out fnfnfjdjdj
