This week has been bruising, to say the least. I’ve had a lot of nasty tweets, but to wake up to this - from a children’s book author, no less! - accusing me of ‘trying to force my agenda on others’ in calling for more diversity in children’s publishing is particularly painful.

Given how many times I’ve been unfollowed/soft blocked and no doubt muted, I’m sure Kevin isn’t the only one in publishing who thinks this. At least he had the bollocks to say it out loud, I suppose.

Right. Gonna take a lil break from here. It’s #globalpride so I need to switch to forcing my Gay Agenda on others. Thanks for being lovely xx
