both have proved on numerous occasions to constantly be a threat to the others on charts no matter the year and no matter the era

both have had numerous Grammy and various other awards wins and nominations in highly prestigious categories

both don’t need to prove their talent any more because they already have. they both reach incredible ranges both deep and high which many say are the best voices they’ve ever heard

they don’t stick to one genre. this is what makes them icons and not stars. they’re able to experiment and perform and make became a commercial success various genres such as jazz and country

they both sell out stadiums with EASE. not arenas, stadiums.

they are not ‘k bye’ performers. they put on a show. no low budget, always above what’s expected

they support other female artists.

1/2 their stans are awful. they constantly go against each other in a manner that I’ll never understand. they never gave a reason to hate each other, stans are ruining it for each other to enjoy quality music and performances. they both have a voice and they both have a

2/2 message therefore they should both be heard. next time you see hate from either fandom don’t drag the other artist. instead defend your own or link to this thread. they both deserve an audience to hear them. Not one that tears each other apart.
