The lone Hindu Brahmin family in Pakistan's Chakwal

Kariyala village where the family lives was founded by a Brahmin and used to be a hub of Chibbers before all was lost in partition. In an area with hostile demographics things can go south quick.

There are two temples in the village. At the entrance of the functional one Ms have tied up buffaloes & refuse to move them elsewhere despite pleas.
The other temple was given by govt to a Muslim family where they slaughter goats, see the helplessness in the last line.

They can't celebrate Holi of course and are looked on by suspicion by the youth in the area. They get bizzare glances because being a Hindu is an alien.
An area that was once entirely ours, sad story of our people in the last century.

It is for people like them who have zero chance at living a life of dignity that we brought in CAA. Hopefully the remaining few of our bretheren in Pakistan and Afghanistan can come here soon.
