I had such a wonderful full day of friendly faces and diversions from the day-to-day isolation routine at home. Can I share it with you?

With a worried look at the overcast sky, I headed out to @coffee_outside at 7 a.m. Glad I did because the rain held off and the friendly distances visits at Ezio Faraone park were pleasant as ever. Highlights:
Showing @drdagly an off-market Tik Tok
Getting tips from @uptown_one on expanding a toddler’s vocabulary without antagonizing him;
Getting sage manners advice from @newfangl3d “Don’t ogle passing strangers’ down tubes.”
Watching @RunGhirl fangirling over a gift from @yegTerryONeill while making @Kub64 laugh with my lame who’s Hugh joke.
Lovely chats with my newest friends @randomNidhi and @tinabee_77 who made a special pilgrimage today from the St. Albert coffee outside scene.
And a special appearance from the elusive, but greatly missed @Daveography.
Missing lots of good friends I haven’t seen in a long time like @H_Y_L @tpidner17 @Critical_Cass @tkemper1900 @physedchick @erinlovesyoga @TheGrillGeek and his snazzy socks
Then I headed to @UAlberta campus, and I saw a very camera shy leucistic pigeon!
Then I had a Zoom meeting with some friendly faces from one of my favourite programs @xnklip @DunchinYEG
Worked in my office briefly, and then bikes to Gazebo park to meet with @jkparker and @vijamsonic who treated us to teacakes from @sugared_spiced, and we had a special surprise visit from @GahertySandra who was biking by leisurely, obviously in no hurry to help anyone move!
Then it was back to campus for a distanced lovely lunch on the patio of The University Club with my colleagues from @ois_ualberta and @uabCSL and afternoon goodbye cocktails.
Then a #tipsybikeride home with a quick stop to watch a snippet of a driveway concert in @StrathearnCL
Thanks for tuning in, and I hope your day was a good as mine!
