Your fur babies aren’t children. They’re fully funtioning animals that might eat you if you die in front of the television. They don’t need you...you might be actually impairing their ability to be their full selves.

Children...are like full grown adults...their emotions, expectation, needs, wants... it’s like living with a full adult who under normal circumstances you would kick out of your life unless you are someone who is okay with codependent assholes

Kids are cool though, because every 3-6 months they’re totally different people who show you just how shitty of a human being you are because they mimic all your good and bad choices.

Kids are also cool because they love more honestly than any other group of people. Which is terrifying because you are fucking it up with all your hang ups and insecurities and societal pressures that you are molding them too.

Also. Infertility issues does not equate raising children. Birthing a child and raising a child are not the same. MANY people raise children that aren’t theirs for a MULTITUDE of fucked up reasons and some “yay we wanted to adopt” reasons

So if being infertile is triggering know that, your insecurity really has nothing to do with the reality of the job many have. You too can have that job actually. Tons of babies and kids who need parents to fuck them up! It’s the way of the world
