It was never about saving the economy, the economy was always doomed. It was, as it always is with these people, about greed.

Because our leaders are so mind-bendingly stupid, however, they couldn’t even do greed correctly, and now it’s all going to collapse when they could have been SLIGHTLY less greedy and held everything together.

When the books are written on this time, the over-arching theme of all of them will be how colossally and unnecessarily stupid this entire three and half year nightmare has been.

I will never get past how easy it would have been for Trump and his people to completely salvage every awful thing they’ve done by simply DOING NOTHING and letting the scientists handle covid but they couldn’t even do that. They couldn’t even do nothing right.
