why im not accepting shane dawson's "accountability"

-he tries to play it off like the video he's making isn't reactionary like his last apologies. he pretends like the things he's apologizing for didn't just go viral and he was being actively canceled for them

if you really have changed and have been sorry for your problematic behavior all year, WHY DIDN'T YOU MAKE AN APOLOGY BEFORE? you did it specifically because you were being canceled, if the footage hadn't gone viral, you wouldn't be doing this

things he has done to a 12 year old girl: made her give him a lapdance, constantly talked about having sex w/ her, asking if she's on her period, has a boyfriend, telling her to dance sexually on a table, making her give a blowjob to a hotdog, telling her to "shake her tits"...

... teaching her about sex/oral sex without permisson, etc etc etc the list is so long yall.

YET HE ADDRESSED IT AS AN AFTERTHOUGHT. jenna marbles SHOWED the footage ppl were upset about but shane dawson plays it down and dismisses it like it's not HIM BEING A CHILD PREDATOR

don't let whatever reverse psychology get to you when he says "you don't have to forgive me" BECAUSE YOU FUCKING SHOULDN'T. dumb jokes are one thing but preying on the innocence of a little girl is another and CANNOT be undone.
