I'm requesting information from DFW hospitals on how many hospital workers are infected. Dallas County says it does not keep track of that information, stating, "We have data on healthcare workers who have been hospitalized since March but not data on workers currently infected."
Baylor tells me, "Less than 1% of our caregivers have tested positive after an exposure to a COVID-19-positive patient."
UT Southwestern shows only seven have become infected in their clinical setting.
JPS Health says 97 workers have tested positive at some point during the pandemic.
Methodist Dallas says it's a personnel matter. I am still waiting to hear back from Parkland, Medical City and Texas Health.
