I hope your kids see how much you regret having them when you tweet about parenting like you’re being forcibly exiled to a Siberian work camp

Parenting isn’t a cake walk, of course not, and no one is acting like it is. But it’s not childless people’s fault that you have or regret having children, and you also really can’t know why they decide not to have them.

A number of black women I know don’t want children because they’re scared of what it means to parent a black child, so let’s start with childlessness as a reproductive justice issue rather than masking complaints in “privilege”

Also most men do significantly less parenting than their wives (we’re presuming heteronormativity here) so I generally don’t care what they have to say about that labor lol
