I've said it before and I'll say it again Dadzawa and Bakugou is an underrated BOND.

I think in Bakugou's life before UA he's come across people who have said that he's just amazing

But then you have Aizawa who doesn't sugarcoat things and is realistic. But still believes bakugou can be a hero.

He acknowledges that Bakugou has SO much potential. He has talent

But Aizawa doesn't let that cover his obvious flaws and since he doesn't over praise his students, it keeps them grounded which is what Bkg needed after being praised all his life

And the thing I love about that is, Bakugou knows this, he knows he needs to better himself that's why he doesn't argue with Aizawa here. They're on the same page.

And just to remind people that if Bakugou didn't have the potential to be a hero, Aizawa would've expelled him already. He doesn't let people reach for dreams that they can't achieve, he knows that better than anyone

Aizawa stood up for Bakugou 2 times on national television when everyone else was against Bakugou or had doubts

And once again Bakugou knows this. I like to believe he's genuinely thankful here

He took Bakugou's behaviour as his responsibility which is KIND OF another way of saying that it wasn't Bakugou's fault he got kipnapped but his own. Since the reporter said the kidnapping could've been triggered by Bakugou's behaviour

My point: Aizawa doing all this, just standing up for what he genuinely believes about Bakugou in front of the country 2 times. Looking at Bakugou from a realistic lens. Just being there.

Made Bkg go from wanting to fight shiggy for payback to wanting to protect Aizawa

My other point: Aizawa's existence and support is important to Bakugou as well as everyone else (including us the readers)
