Roblox scams are becoming more abundant, so I thought I’d make a thread elaborating on what it is and what steps you can take in order to ensure that it doesn’t happen to you (1)

1) Scammer makes a YouTube video that tells you to go on a specific link, this link will give them your account details upon visiting the site.

2) After your account has been stolen, scammer proceeds to make bots that make you perform unauthorized purchases from your account and transfers anything valuable to another account (which they then probably proceed to sell and make money off)

3) Scammer uses your account to email all of your friends a message that makes them go to the video and click the link— the very link that got your account compromised.

4) The cycle repeats and unaware friends click the link and get their accounts compromised, robux stolen, and the link is then further spread.

In order to make sure that you don’t fall for this trap:
- Make sure you check links very carefully before you click them
- As of now, if there’s any DM you receive regarding helping someone “upload a texture”, there’s a 99% chance it’s going to be a scam.

If you get your items/robux compromised, Roblox has a rollback feature that can revert your items but I’m pretty sure you can only use it once although they may make exceptions.
