my name is lauren and i'm a 25 year old disabled college student, about to start a master's in education program specializing in diversity and equity in education! 2/6

i have a rare genetic disorder called osteogenesis imperfecta, which causes my body to produce defective collagen (a protein found in almost every system of the body). i've broken bones over 200 times, have respiratory issues, and deal with chronic pain. 3/6

i'm a full time power wheelchair user and am (clearly) very passionate about disability and disability rights. i have conservative family on my facebook so this is where i come to advocate and be snarky to assholes sincei can't do it there. 4/6

i'm also pansexual, so i do a lot of advocating for the LGBTQ+ community, both by itself and where it intersects with the disability community. 5/6
