Simply terminating the contract without any form of reparations for the harm that this contract did in the first place is—simply put—violent to the thousands of people that “benefited” from it in the most twisted of all ways (2)
@OHSUNews this is slavery and you are the beneficiary. Ask the people you’ve harmed what #reparations should look like and then show us what they look like (3)

I shouldn’t have used the word benefited when talking about slaves at all, even if I did put in quotes. that was just whack, and then also confusing when I went on to talk about beneficiaries.
