Not much to see in the photos, also not much to choose from - less than 15 results

I picked this one as it had three train or tube stations within 0.2 miles which is great for any Londoner

Only 48 results came up and even then some were not of traditional build so wernt considered

The properties to select from were similar however this was chosen due to regeneration happening in woolwich such as crossrail and the creative corner

Really I just picked this to give north west London some love as if seems most deals will be south/east based

Nonetheless, this 2 bed flat above a shopping parade is in decent condition and a very good location

I chose this one as it’s got 3 bedrooms and is a self contained ground floor flat and just needs a lil TLC

Ground floor flats like this come with a garden which is a plus and there was decent amount of time on the lease at 120 years

This property in cuffley (Hatfield) definitely needs some updating
Sometimes with landlords permission you can update a property but I would reccomend only renting a property you are comfortable living in in its current state

We are getting further and further out of London and it’s really showing 1k isn’t getting you far at all

This is a 2 bed ground floor flat and is deffo a fixmeupper it is also on the small side and it does really seem the owner is relying on location to sell

Yet another 2 bedroom flat, while the rooms are quite spacious the pictures are a shambles and it seems like another case of the landlord relying on location to let the property as it’s not far from Heathrow

This 2 bed flat is just minutes from the M25 and is well presented inside

This is our first HOUSE on the list and you know what? This 2 bed ain’t bad for 1k you know

It’s in Grays which is coming up and Lakeside is just round the corner and in much better nick than some of the other properties on this list

Rounding off with this first floor flat in Harlow

This flat seems more suitable to move straight in than some of the others on this list

Harlow sits basically between Essex and Hertfordshire and has decent links to London

Listen ima keep it a buck, 100, or two virgils - however u wana put it

I thought we were about to get lit once we touched 5 miles or so but it’s safe to say things didn’t change much

Based on my quick searches 1k/200k properties seemed to be rental properties that are not looked after or landlords know they will lent regardless

For purchases they seemed to all be properties that need refurbs or modernisation
