As Fletcher scored I thought to myself “The first of many this season”
Should’ve won if not for Britt reclining at the penalty kick. The defence looked disorganised, but surely we’d sort that out later in the season.

Solid performance despite the result, should’ve won 2-1 but for the two wrongly disallowed goals.
Ollie Watkin’s tap in ultimately seemed our fate.

Words that would come back to haunt him. Nice to see the younger players get a game but the performance and result underwhelming.

They always score against their old club. New signing Dijksteel concedes a penalty which Danny Graham would slot home.

First win of the season, Britt looked like he was going to reach my prediction of 15 goals this season after a nice cushioned header; one the likes of Alan Smith would be proud of.
Not a great performance but ground the result out.

Yet another below average performance, who new the 6’5” Matt Smith would be a danger from set pieces?
McNair took his goal well but the lack of movement in front of the balk started to appear as a real issue.

Much improved performance, Britt’s smile was the highlight after scoring probably his best goal of the season so far.
Dael Fry came back in to the fold as our youngest captain since Lee Cattermole. I was feeling very optimistic after this match.

The first and only match I’ve ever walked out on before half time let alone before fulltime.
Took my mate who is a Newcastle fan, he thoroughly enjoyed it.. I did not.

Who knew that if you put 11 men behind the ball, you invite pressure.
We should’ve lost this match by 3 or 4. The highlight being celebrating our equaliser as if it was a last minute winner, only for the blues to make it 2-1 two minutes later.

I’m inclined to agree, fuck it, we should’ve let Fulham play with 14 men on the pitch. We’d have won 4 or 5-0

He is a proven goalscorer at this level, we just happen to ruin proven scorers at this level when they sign for us.
But despite our best efforts to tarnish his record, Britt managed to score twice. It proved to be not enough though as we drew this match.

Absolutely incredible performance and we were cruising for the first time in the season after a beautiful goal from Fletcher to put us 2-0 up.
Then Johnson got himself sent off, JW gave him a high five and we invited Hull pressure in the second half
