On conference call with reporters, Adam Silver says, "We are left with no choice but to learn to live with this virus. No options are risk-free right now."
He adds, "We have developed a safe and responsible plan" for the restarted season, and that NBA believes personnel will be safer on its campus at Disney than elsewhere.
Silver says: "We’re coming back because sports matter in our society. They bring people together when they need it the most."
Silver, "Yes, the level of concern has increased, not just because of the increased levels in Florida, but throughout the country."
Silver, when asked about rising cases in Florida and whether there's a # that would cause NBA to reconsider: "We’re not saying `full steam ahead no matter what happens'…but we feel very comfortable right now with where we are."
