The Guardian has been one of the single largest contributors to mainstreaming classic antisemitic conspiracy theories all under the guise of 'criticising Israel'. From Blood Libel, mind control to poisonings, there's not an antisemitic trope the Guardian hasn't pushed /1 https://twitter.com/ShMMor/status/1276462429296381952
Take Blood Libel, the myth that Jews use non-Jews' blood/body parts for secret ritual. The Guardian had to row back its headline "Israel admits harvesting Palestinian organs". *One* pathologist kept tissue for research similar to the Alder Hey scandal /2

Yet more Blood Libel. In response to Andy Newman's prescient article about Left Antisemitism, the Guardian gave & actively *promoted* right of reply to antisemitic conspiracy theorist, Alison Weir, the letter itself riddled with antisemitic conspiracy theory. /4
The Guardian *promoted* Blood Libeller Alison Weir who calls Judaism as a "ruthless and supremacist faith", falsely says Jews are taught "all non-Jews are totally satanic creatures" and "Jewish culture is superior to all others" (full details in link) /5

Then poisonings. The Guardian emotively reporting spraying land on the Israeli border as "destroying livelihoods". Mentioning only ever in passing incendiary devices from Gaza aimed at kids, sometimes w/ poison that have destroyed 000s of acres of land /6 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jul/19/israeli-spraying-of-herbicide-near-gaza-harming-palestinian-crops
Or the various Guardian commentators portraying Jews as innately hateful, having "slavish" control over the US or considering themselves as "chosen". So much so, its Reader's Editor Chris Elliott had to issue a statement. /7

One might wonder what influence erstwhile Guardian longtime columnist & former Comment Editor, Seamus Milne, had over this mainstreaming of antisemitic discourse. Here seen enthusiastically replying to AS conspiracy theorist Tony Gosling (see link) /8

Milne's father famously sacked by the Thatcher government, yet Milne clearly & specifically focusing on the role of Victor Rothschild, whose sole bidding Thatcher was supposed to have obeyed. Classic antisemitic conspiracy with an actual Rothschild! /9

The Guardian of course has its Jewish columnists & editors (great ones @Freedland @HadleyFreeman et al). But its continual ability to wave through antisemitic tropes & discourse is malevolent. There would be no Corbyn without the Guardian, it's the home of #LabourAntisemitism /10
