We don’t want anyone to lose their rights. I view the abolitionist calls not to jail killer cops as asking people to waive the few rights they have at vindication under the law and redress from the state. The state and the masses have an adversarial relationship but the
masses literally constitute the state through their wealth via taxes. We don’t ask for people to surrender their rights. It’s “survival PENDING REVOLUTION.”
The solution is eminently *not* asking the masses to abandon their claims against the state and to follow the Ford-foundation activists into the slaughterhouse.
