Her publicist (Yvette Noel-Schure) is a black women and she’s been working with her since Destiny’s Child. Now Noel-Schure is head of publicity at Parkwood Entertainment. The public relations industry is notorious for having a diversity problem.
When it comes to visual storytelling, Beyoncé’s go-to woman is Melina Matsoukas. The award-winning music video director had worked on 9 of Beyoncé’s videos before taking on the woman empowered Formation video.
Beyoncé has a well-curated Instagram feed and website and on her OTRII tour a Black woman made glimpses of the superstar even better. Recently Raven B. Varona received an iHeartRadio nomination for Best Tour Photographer for her work with Beyoncé.
Beyoncé was the first black woman to headline Coachella. Black women proved to be a force in this performance as they took rank in her marching band as musicians, dancers on her drill and majorette teams and step team leaders in her Beta Delta Kappa fictional sorority.
In 2011 Beyoncé’s Glastonbury set made history as she was the first female headliner in 20 years and she was also the first solo black artist to headline.
Beyoncé opened a cosmetology centre at Phoenix House addiction centre. For people suffering from addiction to learn a new career skill. She also donated her whole salary from her movie ‘Cadillac Records’ ($4 million) to the female rehab centre.
Out of Beyoncé’s 3 children 2 of them are girls, meaning 60% of her family are female.

After Beyoncé dropped her female anthem ‘Formation’ she performed it at the super bowl halftime show (The most watched event of the year) For the performance Beyoncé bought predominantly black women to her performance and broke the internet.
When Beyoncé opened her management and entertainment company ‘Parkwood’ she signed 3 women as her first artists to manage.
Beyoncé made a few bold statements from the start of her 2016 MTV VMAs red-carpet appearance to her performance. On the red carpet, Bey invited the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant, Mike Brown and Eric Garner, some of whom made a cameo in Lemonade to the awards ceremony.
Beyoncé has included feminist influences in her music including her songs independent women, run the wold (girls) and a recording of Chimamanda Ngozi feminist speech in her smash hit ***Flawless
