To start let's set the scene with a great view of Kane's living quarters! The painting is called Wanderer above the Sea of Fog by Caspar David Friedrich. Kane must have taken it from Mount Weather and something about it appealed to him. Something ancestral perhaps? #MarcusKane
Or maybe it's how he sees himself. The Kane name means wanderer, and I think there was something of the lost soul about Kane when he got to Earth. He was always reaching for something but never quite grasped it. #MarcusKane
He's so intense in this episode. So much riding on him and his small rebel kru. Never before or since were we treated to this much Kane and so many close ups. His eyes are hypnotic throughout this ep, expressive of his fear and pain, and occasional hope. #MarcusKane
A rare smile, albeit a wry one ;) Kane's machinations with Sinclair and Lincoln were a treat even if it all went a bit wrong at the end! Also, how hot is he here?? #MarcusKane
Absolutely my all time favourite look. Everything about it is perfection. The hair which he's clearly been running his fingers through a lot in frustration, his dark eyes boring into Pike, the beard still fairly neat. The leather jacket (
